A quick announcement: We’ve taken a few Sundays “off” and created a new little service where users can share photos of their desks.

We’ve always been interested in work environments and seeing where people we admire work. It’s also quite common on the Internet that people want to share photos of their computer setups and desks. We identified the most important features to support something like that and created Deskography.

The site is still pretty rough, but we think it’s better to just release a crude version—as long as the available feature-set works—and let the users prioritize further development.

We’ve taken help from our spry friend Mr Carl Jartman on this project. Carl will be helping us get the word out on the street; nag—well, hopefully nagging won’t be necessary—cool people in the industry about photos; general PR work; and a lot more. Welcome to the team, Carl!
