Project Description

Screens is a tiny Firefox extension that allows you to take screenshots of entire pages—even the parts that do not fit inside the current view port. It then computes a filename and saves the screenshot to a png-image without prompting you for a filename or location to save to. Filenames will include the page’s title and URL. Screenshots will be saved to the default Firefox download directory, but this can be set to any directory in the settings.

The project is currently in it’s infancy. We’ll use it in our daily routines here at distrop for a few days to iron out the first few bugs, and then add it to the Firefox addons repository and make the source code available.
